Drums And two Plastic Baskets Scheme for Gujarat’s Farmer , Scheme to assist farmers in purchasing drums as well as two plastic baskets (tubs) for multipurpose use, its is 100 % free of cost to farmers in the state of Gujarat.

Who is Eligible for this Scheme
Under this scheme, farmers of the state will be provided 200 liter plastic drums for multipurpose use as well as two 10 liter plastic Baskets kits free of cost. The benefit of this scheme will be available to all the farmers holding land in the state. One beneficiary per account (as per sample number 8-A) will be eligible for this assistance.

Beneficiary Selection Process
Based on the application received from the applicant and the supporting papers, their eligibility will be checked and pre-approval will be given within the target of limit. Educational Calendar of Schools: State schools will have 245 days of academic work out of 365 days of the year, 80 days of holidays in a year.

In addition to local holidays, public holidays include summer and Diwali vacations

There will be 117 academic days in the first session and 136 days in the second session..

As soon as the second wave of Corona calmed down, a new academic session started in schools in the state from June 7. The academic calendar of the state's schools has now been announced. State schools will have 117 days of study in the first semester, while 136 days of academic work will be in the second semester. There will be 245 days of academic work during the year, excluding local holidays. The first session will run until October 30.

The first semester will consist of 117 days of study, including 20 days in June, 26 days in July, 23 days in August, 25 days in September and 23 days in October. The second semester could begin on November 22, with 136 days of study. There will be a total of 136 days of academic work on November 8, December 26, January 24, February 24, March 25, April 23 and May 6. Thus, the first and second semesters together will have a total of 253 days of academic work in schools. This will include 245 days of study, excluding eight days of local holidays.

Next Date: Necessary instructions are given regarding the planning of the celebration of "Eleven (11) National Voters' Day" to be celebrated across the country on January 25, 2021, the main details of which are as follows:

As per the instructions of the Election Commission, in order to celebrate the National Voters' Day-2021, emphasis has been laid on disseminating various technological initiatives implemented by the Commission to provide various services to the voters during the elections, especially during the Koro epidemic. For this, the Election Commission has suggested the following various activities in addition to the activities undertaken in the past under normal circumstances in connection with the celebration of "National Voters' Day" in the state.

1, focus on technological tools:
Special emphasis will be laid on popularizing the technological tools developed by the Commission to ensure transparent, free and fair election process at present as well as to reach the maximum electorate through more efficient publicity.

a) Launch of e-EPIC: E-EPIC will be launched on the occasion of NVD-2021. Under which voters will be able to download their voter ID card in their mobile or commuter.

b) e-EPICometer: A dashboard will be created for monitoring e-EPIC downloaded on ECI / CEO's website.

c) Awareness through state / district level icons and other participants:

State / district level icons regarding technological innovation initiated by the Election Commission and. Dissemination of propaganda on social media platforms by appropriate hashtags by other participants such as civil society organizations, educational institutions etc. and tagging the official social media platforms of the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer and the Election Commission in such hashtags.

During the celebration of National Voters' Day, media representatives should be present as well as media briefings on COVID-2019 guidelines and precautionary measures should be taken.

1. CoVID-2019 Mask widely used for Bihar Assembly general elections successfully held during the epidemic as well as for the safety of voters, Inform the media about handgloss, sanitizer, PPE Kit etc.

ii. To record and disseminate the audio-video messages of the state / district icons regarding the security measures taken in the elections held by the Commission during the period of coVID-2019.

ii. The DEO may also organize a phone-in program on radio and television in which voters may ask perplexing questions over the phone, iv. A booth level official can organize a phone-in program on community radio on election-related questions.

Use of all forms of media such as print, audio visual, outdoor advertising, FM radio, television, SMS, e-mails, social media, etc. to promote the theme of V. NVD-2021.

vi. Promoting the theme of NVD-2021 in various government schemes, public service centers and programs. vii. Display NVD and related message posts and banners DEO, ERO, AERO ua VFCS saa forward.

4. Use of various media platforms: To make social media platforms, television, cable networks etc. participatory for maximum coverage under SVEEP considering the prevailing situation of Koroni epidemic.

5. Use of Technology: As many as 30 different applications developed by the Commission for use before, during and after the election and during non-election (as per Phase-I to IV shown in the letter of Election Commission dated 07-01-2021 Extensive dissemination of surveys for the use of applications).

6. Main activities to be carried out at different levels:

The following activities will have to be organized at the booth level, district level in accordance with the guidelines given by the Central and State Governments regarding the Koro epidemic and the rules of social distance.

Scrapyards and fitness centres
Unlike in developed countries, India’s vehicle scrapping industry is highly unorganised and controlled mostly by roadside garage owners. The scrapping process is labour-intensive and largely done manually.

“The scrapping facilities are highly unorganised, located in major cities, who buy the vehicle and do the dismantling manually without any machinery, which makes the process inefficient. So, the recycling, recovery and reuse from the scrapped vehicles is very limited, which causes serious economic loss,” Aramane said.

The ministry hopes the scrapping scheme will help address the dearth in availability of key raw materials like rare earths and metals. About 60 vehicle scrappage centres will be set up by the private sector with help from state governments.

In this project, a private institution or individual will provide all kinds of facilities free of cost to help the bright students of government schools in shaping their careers. One lakh students will be prepared by the state government every year under this project.

According to this policy, the purpose is to find the most talented students from Std-1 to Std-5 and give them quality education free of cost in the next standards. Sources in the education department said that covering one lakh students a year in the policy would cost the government Rs 60,000 per student, bringing the total cost of the entire project to Rs 600 crore. The selection of project partners will be scrutinized by a committee made up of skilled and experienced individuals. The committee will recommend to the Governing Council, composed of the Secretary of Primary and Secondary Education, for the approval of selected applicants.

Free education to students from Std. 6 to 12
At present, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Eklavya Model Residential School and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya are functioning in government residential schools in the state. A large number of applications are received every year for admission in these schools. With this in mind, the Department of Education has developed a world-class Residential School of Excellence policy on the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. According to this policy, free education will be imparted to students from Std. 6 to 12 studying in government schools of the state.

The best teaching method, higher teaching materials and alternative educational medium, which are available in private schools, will be provided in this residential school. Talented students will be sought from these schools and coaching facilities will be provided for them for JEE, NEET as well as Civil Services examinations. According to the state education department, a total of one lakh students from standard 6 to standard 12 will be set up with the capacity of Residential School of Excellence PPP model. To this end, the government has decided to encourage private individuals, organizations, options under corporate social responsibility as well as partners to set up such a school.

The full investment in the project will be made by the partner and the project partners will be given a higher amount per student each year by the education department for recurring expenses. The partner will have to invest in land and all education facilities. The campus of the residential schools will have a capacity of minimum 2 thousand and maximum 10 thousand students. In the future, such campuses could also be developed as educational zones, as stated in the National Education Policy. Academic as well as non-academic staff in these schools will have to be recruited by the project partner on contract basis.
