વિક્રમ સારાભાઇ પ્રોત્સાહન શિષ્યવૃતિ યોજના 2022: આ શિષ્યવૃત્તિનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય ગુજરાતના ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારોના આર્થિક રીતે નબળા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને વિજ્ઞાનમાં ઉચ્ચશિક્ષણ મેળવવા માટે પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવાનો તેમજ સહાય આપવાનો છે. આ શિષ્યવૃત્તિનું નામ વિક્રમ સારાભાઈ પ્રોત્સાહન યોજના (વિકાસ શિષ્યવૃત્તિ) છે.
વિક્રમ સારાભાઇ પ્રોત્સાહન શિષ્યવૃતિ યોજના 2022 વિશેષતાઓવિકાસ શિષ્યવૃત્તિ ફક્ત ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારની શાળાઓમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા ઓછી આવક ધરાવતા કુટુંબના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે છે.
દર વર્ષે કુલ દસ (10) શિષ્યવૃત્તિ આપવામાં આવશે. 10 માંથી, ઓછામાં ઓછી 5 શિષ્યવૃત્તિઓ કન્યોઓને આપવામાં આવશે.
અરજી ગુજરાતના ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારોની શાળામાં ધોરણ 8 માં અભ્યાસ કરતા એવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કરી શકશે કે જેમના કુટુંબની કુલ વાર્ષિક આવક 1.5 લાખથી ઓછી છે.
[ માત્ર વર્ષ 2022-23 માટે, હાલમાં ધોરણ 10 માં અભ્યાસ કરતા અને આગામી વર્ષે વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહ લેવાનું આયોજન કરતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે વધારાની 10 શિષ્યવૃત્તિ ઉપલબ્ધ છે. જો પસંદગી થાય તો આ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને બે વર્ષ માટે શિષ્યવૃત્તિ આપવામાં આવશે જે ધોરણ 11 દરમિયાન ₹30,000/- અને ધોરણ 12 દરમિયાન ₹30,000/- હશે. ]
પસંદગી પામેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ચાર વર્ષના સમયગાળામાં ₹1,00,000/- (માત્ર એક લાખ રૂપિયા) સુધીની શિષ્યવૃત્તિ પ્રાપ્ત થશે.
[ ધોરણ 9 માં ₹20,000/-, ધોરણ 10 માં ₹20,000/- અને જો વિદ્યાર્થી ધોરણ 10 પછી વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહમાં અભ્યાસ ચાલુ રાખે તો ધોરણ 11 માં ₹30,000/- અને ધોરણ 12 માં ₹30,000/-. ]

Election Commissioner P. Bharti said that the counting process will be conducted at 37 counting centers across the state. He added that there are 03 counting centers in Ahmedabad, 02 counting centers in Surat and 02 counting centers in Anand. Apart from this, counting of votes will be started simultaneously at each counting center in all the districts.

The much awaited moment in Gujarat was finally announced today. The Central Election Commission has announced the dates for the Gujarat assembly elections. Voting will be held in two phases in which voting will be held on 1st and 5th December. When the result will be declared on 8th December.

Importantly, after the announcement of Himachal Pradesh elections, Gujarat dates were eagerly awaited.

The political parties also had an assumption that both the counting would be simultaneous, that is why a period of 27 days has been kept between voting and counting in Himachal.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has ruled Gujarat for the past 27 years and in the 2017 elections, the BJP won 99 seats in the 182-member Legislative Assembly. This time, a tripartite war is about to take place when the Aam Aadmi Party is campaigning aggressively against the BJP in addition to the Congress in Gujarat.

Around 5 crore voters will vote in Gujarat
The Election Commission said that a total of 4 crore 90 lakh (4,90,89,765) voters have registered for the Gujarat assembly elections this time. This includes 2.5 crore (2,53,36,610) male voters and 2.37 crore (2,37,51,738) female voters. Apart from this, service electors, PWDs and first-time voters are included. The number of first-time voters is 4,61,494.

All the counting stations in the state have completed the necessary preparations. 182 Counting Observers, 182 Election Officers and 494 Assistant Election Officers will be on duty for the entire counting process. There will be an additional 78 Assistant Election Officers for the counting of votes. Besides this, 71 additional Assistant Election Officers have been assigned responsibility for the electronically transmitted postal ballot system. For this, all the counting staff have been appointed. The second randomization will also be completed today and the third randomization process will be done at 5:00 am before the counting of votes. A micro-observer, counting supervisor and counting assistant are assigned duty at each polling center table. Apart from this, two micro-observers will be placed in the counting hall. The entire counting process will be videographed.

First postal ballot followed by EVM counting
Officials, observers, constables-officials, candidates and counting agents and counting agents of each candidate will be allowed to enter the counting stations. The EVMs will be taken out of the strongroom and set up in the counting hall in the presence of the Returning Officer/Assistant Returning Officer, candidate-counting agents and observers appointed by the Election Commission of India. At 8:00 am first counting of postal ballots will be done and from 8:30 am along with postal ballots counting of EVM votes will also start.

A three-tier security system has been ensured at all the counting centres. Chief Electoral Officer Mrs. P. Bharti, after reviewing the preparations for the counting of votes and finalizing it, said that all necessary preparations have been completed at 37 counting stations in 33 districts of the state. Local police will be deployed outside the counting center campus. There will be a tight presence of SRPF at the counting location and CAPF outside the counting center gates. No person or vehicle will be allowed to enter the complex except for officials on duty and specially authorized political representatives.

All counting centers in the state are equipped with modern communication facilities like computers, internet, telephone and fax. Electronic devices like mobile telephones, I-pads or laptops cannot be taken into the counting centre. This restriction shall not apply to Observers, Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers and Counting Supervisors of the Commission. A media center has been set up at each polling centre. Mobile phones cannot be used anywhere in the counting center complex except in the media center.

In the 2017 assembly elections, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won a total of 51 seats out of 93 seats and the Congress won 39 seats, while the independent candidates won three seats. In central Gujarat, the BJP got 37 seats, and the Congress won 22 seats. But in North Gujarat, the Congress got 17 seats, while the BJP won 14 seats. High voltage propaganda by various parties for the second phase of the election ended on Saturday evening, December 3. The first phase of voting for 89 seats in Saurashtra, Kutch and South Gujarat regions was held on December 1. The average turnout was 63.31 percent in the first phase. There are a total of 182 seats in the Gujarat assembly.

In the second phase, the remaining 93 seats will go to polls, for which 833 candidates from 61 political parties, including the BJP, Congress and new poll entrant Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), are in the fray.

These candidates also include 285 independents, according to the state Chief Electoral Officer’s office.
