According to the above subject and context, in the situation of Kovid-19, in the academic year 2020/21, direct educational work could not start in the schools from June 2020. The study of students under "Home Learning" was continued. As per the decision made by the Government, direct educational work has been started in schools from 11/01/2021 for Std-10 and 12 as well as for Std-9 and 11 from 01/02/2021. Generally, every year at the beginning of the academic year, the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education prepares an educational activity calendar and sends it to schools. In which the details of various examinations are shown. Due to the situation of Kovid-19, the educational activity calendar could not be prepared this year. With the approval of the Government obtained on the single file here, the first examination of Std. 9 to 12 in the academic year 2020/21 as well as the annual examination of Std. Will have to do in detail.


First exam: Std-9 to 12 from 19/03/2021 to 27/03/2021


Annual Examination: Std-9 and 11 from 07/06/2021 to 15/06/2021.

Procedures are prepared at the school level according to the model and merit declared by the department. The government has refused to give mass promotions in primary schools. Reports for mass promotions came in the media that primary schools in the state have not yet started physically amidst the Corona riots. However, the state government clarified that it had no plans to give mass promotions to students due to the epidemic. State Education Minister Chudasama said, "Examinations will be held before promoting students in the next academic class."

He further said, 'Std. Students of 1st to 8th and 9th as well as 11th standard will be examined and their examinations will be based on the online syllabus taught by the schools. "If the entire syllabus could not be taught online due to the Koro epidemic, the syllabus will be taken on the basis of the number of syllabi taught to the students," Chudasama told our correspondent Times of India.

On behalf of the parents of the students, the All Gujarat Board of Guardians demanded that mass promotion be given to the students as the schools were physically closed during the core period. He argued that it would not be appropriate to take the exam as online learning was very limited in rural areas. School management, on the other hand, has increased pressure on the state government to reopen schools as many parents have refused to pay fees as the schools are not physically open.
