Announcing the economic relief package, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that under Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Rs 8.75 crore would be deposited in the farmers account. In the first week of April, the first installment will be deposited to all the farmers involved under the scheme. People all over the country are currently facing problems with the Corona virus. In view of this problem, various packages are also being announced by the government. In the same order, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram has made a special decision keeping in view the farmers coming under the Prime Minister’s Honor Fund. 14 crore beneficiaries will get benefits Under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which was launched from February last year, farmers are given assistance up to Rs 6,000 annually. All the states and union territories of the country other than West Bengal have benefited. Under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the target was to reach 14 crore beneficiaries in the country. But a total of 8.75 crore farmers have joined the scheme in the country during the one and half year period.
