Mild air pressure created in Lakshadweep and the Arabian Sea has now resulted in Hurricane Tau-te. This 'Tau-Te' hurricane has started raining havoc in Kerala. A two-storey building on Musodi beach in Kasargod district has collapsed into the sea as part of the storm's impact.
The building has been submerged in the sea due to heavy rains with strong winds. The house was inhabited by two families of foreign laborers. However, they were already evacuated due to the effects of the hurricane. Apart from this, houses and trees have also collapsed in some other places in the coastal area. Importantly, a red alert has been issued in five districts, including Kasargod, following the hurricane.
