Utility Desk: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) also gives its policyholders an online option for other services like revival of LIC policy taking, online premium payment, knowing policy status, viewing bonus status, viewing loan status etc. LIC has to be registered for e-service, but some work can be done without registration. This includes payment of LIC policy premium. Today we're going to tell you how to pay a policy premium online.

Click on the Payment Premium Online tab under the menu of Online Services. Here you will get the option of Pay Direct.

Here you can pay premium without having to log in. As such, a new window will open as soon as you click on this option.

This will give you the option to select your favorite browser. Now click on the browser you are using.

Then select the Renewal Premium option from the drop down menu. Now another window will open.


It will have to fill in the policy number, birth date, mobile number, premium installment, e-mail ID and captcha code provided on the screen.

Accept the terms and conditions and then you can deposit your premium.

As soon as you accept the terms and conditions, the payment page opens.

Here you can pay premium for your LIC policy through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.
